LinkedHashSet in java

In the previous post, we have learnt about HashSet in java. In this post, we will see about the LinkedHashSet in java.

It also implements Set interface like HashSet but it maintains insertion order. It also contains unique elements.

Example:

import java.util.LinkedHashSet;

public class HashSetExample {

	public static void main(String[] args) {
		
		LinkedHashSet<String> lSet = new LinkedHashSet<String>();
		lSet.add("This ");
		lSet.add("is ");
		lSet.add("an ");
		lSet.add("example ");
		lSet.add("of ");
		lSet.add("LinkedHashSet");

		
		//Display the Linkedhashset
		System.out.println("HashSet : "+lSet); // maintains insertion order
	}

}
