Add element to ArrayList at a particular index

In the previous post, we have seen how to add element to the arraylist. In this post, we will see how to add element to arraylist at a particular index.

Syntax:

public void add(int index, Object element)

index: position where the element will be added.

element: The element which needs to be added.

Example:

import java.util.ArrayList;

public class ArrayListEx {

	public static void main(String[] args) {
		ArrayList<String> fruits = new ArrayList<String>();
		fruits.add("Apple");
		fruits.add("Orange");
		fruits.add("Mango");
		fruits.add("Grapes");
